If your premises has more then 20 devices, or is a place of residence, then the fire alarm system should be serviced 4 times a year. In cases where there are less than 20 devices; servicing should be carried out twice per year.
As a Surefire Safety customer; you can call us on our 24/7 service line number to report the fault. Initial investigation will then commence over the phone and a decision will be made on whether you need a visit from our Engineer or whether the fault can be rectified over the phone.
As all buildings are different, and fire alarms vary, the only way to give you an accurate quotation is for you to contact us and arrange a site survey. Please see the Contact Us section of this site and fill in the necessary fields.
As one of our customers; If you come across a fire extinguisher that has a missing/damaged tamper seal, please contact us straight away to arrange for the appliance to be checked. Depending on our findings we will either reseal or replace the extinguisher.
Emergency lights need 4 tests per year: three 30 minute inspections and one 3 hour inspection. If you are a SureFire Safety Customer we can carry out these tests at the same time as your quarterly Fire Alarm Systems checks.
